Recommend someone

Tell PTB who may
benefit from review.

Know a parent whose parental rights, custody, contact, or participation in their children’s life has been substantially restricted or removed? You can recommend them for PTB consideration. Recommendations receive human review before any outreach.

Why recommend?

A second set of eyes
can make a difference.

Many people come to our attention through family members, friends, advocates, or community members who see a possible injustice. Your recommendation helps PTB understand circumstances that may benefit from careful record review.

What a referral does

Brings cases to our team

Your recommendation helps PTB identify circumstances that may benefit from careful record review.

Prompts an initial review

We look at the information you share to see if it may warrant a closer look.

May lead to next steps

If appropriate, we may reach out (with permission) to learn more. All decisions are made by our team.

Send a recommendation

Share the details you can.

You can recommend someone even when you don’t have all the information. Fields marked required are needed for review.

A referral is not an application.
It helps us learn about a case that may benefit from review.

Invitation-only BETA

PTB reviews requests and recommendations before deciding whether to invite an applicant. Sending this form does not create an account, issue an invitation or activate membership. Please do not include identification documents, face photos or recordings.

What does a referral authorize?

A referral gives us permission to review the information you share. If you provide the person’s contact details and confirm you have their permission, we may reach out to them to learn more. A referral does not authorize us to publish their information or share it publicly.
